Description Pfu DNA polymerase, a thermostable enzyme with 3’ to 5’ proofreading activity, derived from the pol gene of Pyrococcus furiosus expressed in Escherichia coli, catalyzes high-fidelity DNA synthesis at an optimal temperature of ~75°C with a low error rate.
