Overview The single-stranded DNA-binding protein from Thermus thermophilus (TthSSB) is a thermostable protein that binds single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) with high affinity and specificity. TthSSB plays a critical role in DNA replication, recombination, and repair in this thermophilic bacterium.
