Overview This product consists of in vitro transcribed firefly luciferase messenger RNA (mRNA) incorporating Cy5-labeled nucleotides for direct fluorescence detection. The Cy5 modification enables visualization of mRNA uptake and intracellular distribution using fluorescence microscopy with a Cy5 filter set. Quantitative assessment of translation efficiency can be performed via a luciferase reporter assay.

  • 5' Cap Structure: Available with either ARCA (Anti-Reverse Cap Analog; m7(3'-O-methyl)-G(5')ppp(5')G, Cap 0) or CleanCap AG (m7G(5')ppp(5')(2'-O-methyl-A)pG, Cap 1) for enhanced stability and translational efficiency.
  • Nucleotide Modifications: Incorporates Cy5-UTP and N1-methyl-pseudouridine-5'-triphosphate at a 1:3 molar ratio to improve mRNA stability and reduce innate immune activation.
  • Poly(A) Tail: 180 nucleotides in length for optimal translational performance.
