| Description |
Vaccinia capping enzyme catalyzes the addition of a 7-methylguanosine cap structure (Cap 0) to the 5′ end of RNA transcripts produced by in vitro transcription. This cap structure is essential for efficient translation in eukaryotic systems. The enzyme is purified from an E. coli strain engineered to overexpress the vaccinia virus capping enzyme subunits D1 and D12. |
