Description Our Transient Protein Production service utilizes high-efficiency, suspension-cultured HEK 293 cells (293F or 293E) for rapid, scalable expression of recombinant proteins. This platform is ideal for generating native, active, and high-purity proteins—including Fc fusion proteins and other tagged constructs—for functional, therapeutic, and structural studies. Our optimized protocols and advanced AKTA FPLC purification systems enable production of up to 1 gram of protein in as little as 4–14 days, supporting applications from assay development to preclinical research.

Workflow & Timeline

    • Assessment of expression by SDS-PAGE, dot-blot, or Western blot
  3. Large-Scale Expression & Purification (2 weeks):
    • Transfection of up to 1 L HEK 293 cells in serum-free medium
    • Protein purification using AKTA FPLC (affinity, IEX, SEC as needed)
    • Dialysis, concentration, and QC (SDS-PAGE, Western blot, protein quantitation)
    • Delivery of purified, ready-to-use protein
